Old ugly touch up fix

Ok, I just recently bought a '98 M3 sedan, Alpine white. Overall the condition of the paint is very good, in fact from 20' the car looks awesome, but...

There are several places where one of the PO's did some chip/scratch repair with a poorly matching touch-up paint; if it weren't so durable I'd say it was 'White out' due to the way it is blobbed on.

Other than wet-sanding do I have any options for removing this?

I don't suppose the Langka system will work on touch up paint that has been in place for a long time?

Thanks,

Russ

I deal with this all the time.. acetone, then buff. damp a cloth with acetone and let it sit on the spot for 10-20 seconds.. rub gently to get it off.. if it doesnt come off, let it sit for a little bit longer.. dont rub hard as that can cause a nasty mark.
