Thought you'd get a kick out of a high top conversion van I did the other day. It takes an 8' ladder to get the top. Oh yeah, used Vanilla Moose and Final Polish on it.

 :shocked Sir, you be da man! :usa That looks great. I can totally imagine how you must have groaned when you saw it. That looks like a brand new van now. Looks great. :bigups

Anthony-I've been taking care of that van twice a year (he parks it under a cover) since 1998.

The owner was injured in an accident about 20 years ago and is confined to a wheelchair, so this is an all out handicap conversion. Regency does very good work! It doesn't have hand controls though since he has very limited use of his arms and none in his hands, so his wife drives. This gentleman is truly an inspiration. I don't get any negative 'why me' vibe off him at all. He's accepted it and now does web design.

Nice work!! I worked on a jacked up F-150 this weekend it took a ladder to get near the roof as well. Scott I wish I had your photography skills as well!!

I hate conversion vans...

I dont mind the outside, but the inside really sucks. Feel like a house keeper then a detailer. I need pledge and dusting rags when i do those. Takes forever.

And for some reason they are always so damn dirty, like the people never clean the inside of them.

This van is very easy to do the interior of because the center seats have been removed, along with the front passenger seat to make room for the wheelchair-the mechanism that locks his chair in place looks like what you'd see on an 18 wheeler to hold the trailer in place. Definitely stout material!

Now, this was a nasty vehicle. Ford Expidition, this is just the back area, after removing all the crap and the back seat, but before vacuuming and shampooing:

And this is after vacuuming and shampooing. Damn thing took me 3 hours to empty, vacuum and clean the carpets and seats. I would have taken more pics, but I ran out of film.

Yay for me - look what I get to do on saturday!

Ugh.

Okay, I'll correct you. I used Car Polishes Final Polish. It is a polymer sealant.

Oh Ok I just orderd some Vanilla Moose Going to Try it out soon looks pretty good from your pictures and comments has anyone tried there Tire Shine yet ?

You mean Clearkote's Tire Treatment? Yeah, I've used it. Looks real shiny at first, but within minutes it is a satiny sheen. Lasts a long time, too.

Nice I like the really high gloss stuff but not Bling Bling. Eimann Fabrik Black Opal has my favorite shine but its expensive and smells terrible and doesnt last to long after rain.
