New UK Member with his XR2/Volvo/Morris Minor!

Stumbled upon this forum so thought I would post straight away!



I'm Jon from Liverpool in the UK and thought that this forum needed some UK cars....:nana:



Having owned many cars in the past, I got in the car polishing scene by a good friend who owned a Concours winning Morris Minor - I have attached a picture showing the car at a recent show...!



Having been briefed on the wonders of Autoglym, I set to work on my very tired looking 1989 Ford Fiesta XR2 and have included a picture of the finished product here also.

Now having sold the XR2, I'm the proud owner of an Ex-Police 1995 Volvo 850 T5 with a heart stopping 200,000 miles on the clock. This didn't seem to have been washed inside and out once so I set to work on the interior and exterior.

Nice looking cars there. The Morris Minor looks amazing, the engine bay is brilliant! Is that an SU carb that its running? Love old British cars! :brit



Volvo looks good mate, especially for 200k on the clock - mind you, 200k really isn't too much from one of these Volvos, espeically if the police have maintained it.
