Need Detailer in Orange County, CA

Hi,



I'm new here and need some help finding a Detailer in the Orange County (California) area. I have a brand new Mini

Cooper S which arrived with some lovely :angry swirls that need to be buffed out.

Thanks for your reply. HotRodGuy actually pm'd me. I also got an e-mail from someone who referred a guy in Mission Viejo. He's coming over today to buff out my Mini. Yippee!

BTW, you may want to hook up with this group of mini owners. They have monthly detail parties and get togethers in O.C.

Also, Meguiar's offers Detail Days classes from time to time where you can learn great methods of maintaining your car yourself (or maybe recruit you S.O.?)

I have a Jag S-Type in metallic black that came with more than its own share of dealer-installed swirl marks. It took 12 hours of work to get it properly polished.



I attended one of the Meguiar's Detail Days back in November and learned all the wrong ways I've been washing and waxing all these years and many correct ways to take care of my cars.



The first thing to learn is how to wash the car so as not to add more swirls. (no more commercial car washes)



I guess we must be truly neighbors - hahaha !! I live in the Cortez homes above Marguerite, between Oso and Felipe. We used to live in the Cordovas before that.

I'll bet your Jag is sharp. I assume you got yours new since you had dealer "installed" swirls too!



My detail guy is coming this afternoon to buff mine out. He's also going to show me how to wash the car and how to use the products I bought from Autopia!



I sent the Mini Club guy an e-mail and already heard back from him. He has a detailing day coming up on Feb. 12th. I'm hoping to make it!

Hi Ron,



Guess what happened after Bob did an amazing job on my car. My 2 yr old son sprayed it with Shout stain remover. :eek: Needless to say I was pretty upset. It still looks great but I had to wash the parts he sprayed. I think it may have taken a little wax off too. I'll try and take some pix anyway.
