I need a high quality wheel brush for chrome aluminum wheels that won't scratch. I'm considering OXO brand but there are other ones out there that might be of good quality as well. What brush do you recommend for my wheel type?

i think OXO are the top of the line brushes pretty much, anything i've found out there can't really compare. but as always you gotta test the brushes first.

You can try some of the really soft toilet bowl cleaners. Like the ones that dont have metal tips exposed and are made of softer plastic tips. They work great on most rims. But they are too wide for wheels like the old 7 series BMW rims. I dont think there is a brush for wheels like those. Good old toothbrush or MF is the only way to clean some of those.

Only cost $3-$4, while OXO brushes cost a good $10 or more. Just dont mix up which toilet bowl cleaner is used for what. Could make for some nasty rims.

I am really happy with my new wheel brush from W@lM@rt. It may be their house brand. It has blue bristles (really soft) with a comfortable easy grip handle. At @ $3-$4 I consider it a bargain.

I bought the softest artists brush I could find, I came across a 2" brush, the bristles on the brush are sooo soft, I simply covered the metal with some masking tape, did the trick, and guaranteed for life to never lose any bristles. Can’t be bad to that..

Black Magic has some nice brushes out now. Comfortable handles and soft bristles; seem well made, too. I've seen them at Pep Boys and Wal-Mart.

I bought one of the Black Magic wheel brushes from Walmart. I found it to be too coarse for the rims. OXO is a lot softer and safer.

I've been real happy with two brushes:

1) OXO Ergonomic Wheel Brush - great basic brush and

2) (Dean Henderson's) E-Z Detail Brush - gets into hard to reach areas.
