Mytee S300 Tempo Spotter

I started a similar thread on a different board, but I wanted to get your opinions also...



Couldn't the Mytee S300 Tempo Spotter be used as an interior detailing tool the same way the larger extractors are used? I understand that it is a cold water unit, but wouldn't applying a pre-treat solution (Prochem, etc.) and then maybe pre-scrubbing the carpet/upholstery with a good shampoo mixed with hot water by hand, scrub brush, and bucket...and then follow up with the Tempo spotter do an awesome job too? For $316, I'm very tempted!

tempting! I was also looking at that one, but I guess the heated steam is what makes the difference in cleaning power and also the lift. I was also thinking of just getting a vapor steamer to do this and use one of these to extract. And also a steamer can be used on other things also and is more of a usefull tool than just an extractor. So maybe a steamer and also one of these might fit the bill for myself also than just an expensive extractor.
