Blue one has 9 coats of zaino....I think I am "finally" getting it right!

Congtrats. The 90-96 Nissan 300ZX is a timeless beauty. Having owned 3 previous Nissan Z32 TT's, I've learned all the quirks and qualities of the 300ZX.
How about a close up photo of the rear quarter window trim? The black, satin finished trim is notoriously prone to oxidation, peeling and fading. The rear window trim can't be replaced as a separate piece...You have to buy the entire rear quarter window assembly!
Whenever I see a 90-96 300ZX I use the window trim finish as a guide to how well the car's been cared for. If your window trim is in good shape, you should be congratulated as a true Z preservationalist!

You mean the thin coat thing ?.....You got it right !!!
I'm a Z diehard also. I didn't get the 350 because it wasn't as practical. Although I do drool over them when I see them on the road.
I still have my old '82 280Zxt rotting away in my driveway.
