Motorcycle detail products

:nixweiss Does anyone use any of these new "cycle products" on their bike? I just got a new Harley, and was just wondering are these products well thought of or are they a joke? I have not done alot of research, but from what I've seen there's nothing really special about them. Like Pinnachles (?) new line. Sounds like the same ole' stuff to me. What's the point? Are they telling me that cycle wax works best on cycles? And cycle "detail" details cycles best?

Just curious to other cycle owners oppinions:confused:

PEACE:xyxthumbs

S100's Total Cycle Cleaner is your friend, trust me. Spray on, hose off, it really cleans and it is safe for the paint, chrome, aluminum and leather.

Other than that, any good car wax will be fine on a bike....but you might be glad to know that the motorcycle version of P21S, S100 is $10 cheaper than P21S.

Rumour is the cycle wax(S100) is supposed to resist gas spills more than the car stuff. Don't know if this is actually true though.

And you can buy the S100 at your HD dealer. I ride a Kawasaki, but I will buy cleaning products from the HD dealer. I'm not fond of HD motorcycles, but I'll give them credit, they know how to clean a bike.

THANXXX guys.........I have seen the S100 products where I bought my Sporty. Didn't really check them out close though. Guess I'll be trying some new products now.

PEACE

Anyone else using the Total cycle care? Aeresol or liquid? Is it like a degreaser? Also, I almost bought the S100 wax.

I use the Total Cycle Care only on the motor (cool), transmission and underside of my Harleys. For the tanks, fenders, etc. I use a gentle car wash solution. I wax both of my bikes frequently with S100. I don't think S100 is very durable, but it sure looks great on black. For swirl removal, etc. I usually use Meguiar's products.
