So my birthday came and went this weekend and I was already to retire for the night and fall asleep with the TV on when a knock came to the door.......I found one of my nephews bearing gifts. Neither of the gifts are very expensive but I think are the most thoughtful thing someone has done for me in a long time. For the full effect I will have to backtrack a bit.....
I detailed two cars for my nephew, a 2010 Lexus and 2008 Jeep. He helped with the Lexus and happened to hear me brag about this yellow clay I got from Canada. (you see where this is going) I also mentioned that I wish I had my little garden tool (Step 2 Garden Hopper, that I had on loan and was looking to buy) to sit on, (I left it at home during this detail)
Well Jared bought me the Garden Hopper and SIX bars of yellow clay. I asked if this is from Canada and he said yes. I asked how he managed to ship it here and he said he searched the online forums until a user agreed to ship it to him. This forum and member is nameless. If it was you, thanks for helping out.
So my nephew was saying thank you for the help on his cars and in the process gave me one of the most thoughtful gifts I have ever received. The effort it took to get the clay must have been great. And the fact that he listened about the Garden Hopper is amazing. Actually I didn't even know it was called that. He found it at Walmart and took a chance. He liked it because it holds a soda can. LOL Anyway, thanks to the nameless member on an unknown forum who helped him out. And thank you so much to Jared, my favorite nephew.
