I thought the 2nd gens pushed about 240 hp stock? And with intake, exhaust and hondata tuned i would have guess at least 260-270. Or am I way off on something?

Very cool!
Thank you sir
Awesome :rockon
;)
Nice man,
totally off que but.. iv'e always wanted an LS1 Powered S2000 ... :D

Yea 240 stock but thats flywheel hp. To the wheels its more like 205 or 200

Yeah I was figuring to the flywheel and generally subtract about 30 hp to the wheels but after looking up the numbers about 205 to the wheels would be correct subtracting the 30hp but I didn't realize until after I had posted that you had put WHP. I don't know how I overlooked something in all caps lol. Anyways I have ridden in and drove my buddies and it definitely feels like more hp than the numbers put out, especially once the vtec kicks in. Very clean ride btw.

to measure fwhp to whp, depending on fwd, awd or rwd, you can add about 17-20% drivetrain loss on rwd cars.

hahahaha no worries man thanx for looking and for the compliment

yea i know! DAMN RWD cars. might get a lighter driveshaft, flywheel, etc to help with that loss

Sweet. Thanks for the info. I never got into a lot of mods and tuning mainly due to finances back then but I did hang out in a couple friends shop a lot and kind of just put together an average in my head for all the cars I had seen tuned except for the really high hp cars. Plus that was a few years ago and I don't remember very much, now I'm driving a gutless 4 door sedan :(

hahaha. if you need any help or suggestions let me know and i'll be happy to help.

after talking to my tuner he said the only way to really gain power is FI, these engines are almost maxed out. Its just a Honda Accord engine thats bored out and has better internals lol

And spins backwards.... it's special. It's close to the Si-R motor, not the regular accord. Have you looked into a 70mm exhaust? Might bump you up a few more ponies. (Berk, Ark, GT motoring, or HKS are the big ones. T1R was supposed to drop a true 3 inch and it never happened, but I believe they have a 70 too)

The S really doesn't ever get more than an extra 40 if you do every bolt on possible and flash tune it. That includes cams.

However, my ap1 has been fun enough for me to keep the past 7 years. It's a great car even pretty much stock. I wish I could put flash pro on it. You will also pick up a few hp from the dyno readings when you drive it. That intake has a huge inlet and you aren't pulling as much air when it's sitting static in a room at really running 60mph on the road. Probably a 3-4 hp difference

Nice car btw!

the invidia exhaust i have is rated at 70mm piping diameter. sounds like xxxx though lol
i wanted to keep a dual exhaust system even though i love the way Berk sounds

I agree, a nice 28 or 35r will be just what you need. Stay away from supercharged. A good trim 28 running even 8psi would do wonders. Be prepared to spend though, between all the supporting mods you looking at a pretty penny.

Exhaust- go with an amuse r1000 or r1.

WOW! That has to be close to some kind of record. A member for over 10 years and this is your first post.

Glad you've stuck with us this long.
