Metro blaster sidekick

I'm considering getting the Metro Blaster Sidekick. I only want something to blow out water from cracks and seams. I always find water streaks or spots after driving the car after a wash.

The full vac/blower is too expensive for me. I also like the compact size of the sidekick.

Does anyone have experience with it? Pros/cons?

Amazon also has a "pet" version. It looks to be the same and comes with a short hose.

Yes, I've used one for my motorcycles. It's a great tool for getting water out of crevices and stuff. I just use my compressor now though. For the price you can get yourself a small air compressor at like Harbor Freight or something and use it for other things as well.

Hi Bob - why did you switch?

I have a pancake compressor already for home renovation work and a leaf blower. Leaf blower tends to kick up dust from the driveway. Compressor would be good but is a pain to lug out the driveway.

I'm interested in hearing what you didn't like about it that made you switch.

I have a hose reel so it's not a pain to just blow off the bike in the drive, and the compressor stays hooked up. It was a pain getting the Sidekick out all of the time and the extension cord and dealing with all of that just to wash.
