The most aggressive compounds I have are Meguiar's #83 and Poorboy's SSR2.5. Those two usually do the trick on most cars but I have run into a few cars where those two just dont work with a light cutting pad on a rotary. I know there is also a regular cutting pad but I want to get a more aggressive compound so I have more options. I would like to get something from Menzerna since I have 106ff and 85RD and love those two products. I've been looking at SIP and PG. I hear that SIP gives me about the same amount of cut as the two products I have. Any thoughts?

There are a couple of versions of IP available to you: PO91L is the standard version and for me has the same cut as the #83 just with a shorter working time. PO85RD3.02 is the ceramiclear version, and I find this cuts very slightly better than #83 and has an equivalently long working time - repeat hits of this on a rotary will correct the majority of defects you're likley to come across IMHO... Power Gloss takes cutting right up to another level, coupled to a cutting pad and this will see you able to happily deal with deeper swilrs and marring.

The SIP is the po83 US version of the po83rd3.01
The po85rd3.02 is the UK version of the SIP with extra cutting power. I have both and the po83 has a longer working time. The 3.02 works a little faster and is more desingned for the pro. Although they are very close and similar and do an excellent job at correction.
The PG is an excellent deep correction polish/light duty compound and is made for removing 1000 grit scratches.
The SIP po83 is the one to get for your average jobs and will do a lot with a rotary. I have corrected newer rock hard Vettes with this polish with great results. PG is only needed for heavy deep correction.

What he says is correct regarding the differences between 3.01 and 3.02.
FWIW, I have both 3.01 and 3.02 and my experiences match Ryan's exactly.
