Does the meg yellow wax pad applicator can cause swirls?Which one is better meg uiars yellow pad or just terry pad applicator?

I used my PC to polish and apply Black Fire sealant to my VW with Meguiars white pads and results came out great. Have never used the yellow.

No NO im talking about the regular 2inch diamter meguairs wax pad applicator thats for hand used only not for PC application.

I use my PC for applying most things, and when it comes to getting smaler areas (around door handles, along windows/nozzles/lights) I only use the

Meg's hand applicators. I haven't had any problem. Swirls and scratches would not be the fault of the pad so much as your application method and the possibility of getting the pad contaminated by dirt or other debris. Also, the majority of swirls will be caused by washing, so if you are careful there and keep the pad clean, you should be all set.

They're nice, but very inconsistent. I have ones that feel like styrofoam and others that are almost velvet-like.

I had one bad applicator, and that was packaged with the meguiars #26 paste(also was bad). That pad ended up disintegrating on me and all that was used was the meguiars wax. Other than that, I have never had any problems with meguiars yellow foam applicators.

I have to agree with this.

Do you guys wash and reuse them or just throw them away and use a new one next time?

i wash and reuse.

Ronald- you might have dropped your applicator or something may have gotten on your car before you used the applicator causing your swirl marks. I treat my pads with much care: never pace it on a dusty surface nor drop it! What color is your car/
