Meguiar's NXT Generation Glass Cleaner

The Rainmaker
Because of the many products I have on hand, I had gotten away from this product for some time.
Tonight, I used it and I am kicking myself for ever getting away from it. :wall
It did so much better job than the products I have been using that there was no comparison. And yes, Invisible Glass was one of those products. :)

If you're talking about the spray and not the aeresol (if they even have it?) I have used it in the past, and I too was rather impressed with it. I'm an avid IG guy and use a local dist.'s brand as well, but I'll have to pick some up again

The spray is what I use. I don't recall ever seeing the NXT Glass Cleaner in an aerosol, but I'm not sure if they have one or not.

Meguiar's makes an aerosol glass cleaner in the professional line, but not (AFAIK) in the NXT line.

It seemed strange to me that Meg's had an aerosol Professional product, but not a consumer line aerosol.
The aerosol doesn't seem very cost effective for a pro.
I don't personally care for the aerosols, but I do think a lot of people like them.
I have heard mixed reviews on the Meg's Detailer Line Glass Cleaner, but one other thing that has kept me away from it is the fact it is concentrated.
I'm all for concentrates and I do buy quite a few products in gallons, but buying a gallon of Glass Cleaner concentrate that would make 10 gallons of glass cleaner seemed like a little much. I doubt that I have used 10 gallons of glass cleaner in my lifetime. :D
I'm pretty sure I won't use that much in the years I have left. :)

Buy the gallon and share with someone.

Maybe offer up one of your "never to be used again" QD's in exchange for a sample of the concentrate?

If you want a glass cleaner comparable to NXT ...go to Home Depot and get a gallon of the Zep Concentrate...1oz to 32oz of water...so a gallon makes 32 gallons of cleaner...its tint safe also..no ammonia...this stuff cleans glass streak free like a diamond....

I have been trying a lot of the Zep cleaners..APC's...extractor shampoo...traffic lane cleaners...odor removers and they have really surprised me how good they worked over the high priced stuff...

any gallon of thier stuff is under 10.00 and goes a long ways...

the glass cleaner is green and says concentrate,.they make a ready to use also but thats not what you want ..it has ammonia..has to say professional concentrate.....you will be surprised how good it cleans....it can also be used as a multi surface cleaner like for plastics.....

I'm working on the share some product idea right now. :)
Trying to trade some QDs as well as some other products I have an excess of. :D
A concentrate that would make 32 gallons would be so much more than I could ever use that I can't imagine how any hobby detailer could need that much glass cleaner.
FWIW, the only ZEP products I have used were their sprayers. I had heard a lot of good things about them, but I was so disappointed in them, I ended up giving them away.

I've used foaming glass cleaner in the past for detailing, and I use it daily at work (auto glass shop), but for the last few years I've just been using QD. I typically polish my windows with KAIO or PB PP on a polishing pad and I'll seal them with whatever I'm using on the car. They shine pretty well, and I just use QD to clean then from then on until I polish them again. Never had a problem on window tint with PB S&W or Adams detail spray. I buy QD by the gallon, so I dont have a porblem using a little bit more of it. 32 Gallons is way more than I need for sure! :D

So what's the final verdict on this product? I have strayed from all grocery-store or Wal-Mart brands... etc

If you like foaming cleaners, W-M carries both Sprayway and Stoner's IG (they also have the non-foaming Stoner's). Both are pretty good options. If you have a LnT nearby, they have Hope's Perfect Glass in a 32 oz. spray bottle and 2L refills.

I use neither on interior glass, but either on exterior glass works great for me.

Ive used the NXT glass cleaner for a while and it is indeed a very good product. Both NXT glass cleaner and Stoner IG are really good products.
