magic eraser on exteriors

Does anyone else use magic erasers in their process of scratch removal.. I use it to take scuff marks out of paint as well as take out minor deep scratches.. its kinda like wet sanding.. leaves a scratchy haze afterwards but I follow up with polish and its all gone.

Tell you the truth I have not had much experience with wet sanding only because I have not had any customers get that picky with their vehicles.. I want to learn more about wet sanding though to gain perfect results if the opportunity should arise.

What does magic eraser equal as far as wet sanding.. like is it compared to 1000 grit sand paper …etc

Just trying to see who else uses this method. I have used magic eraser on an entire car once..

I also use it for my interiors and door jams, headlights and engine compartments .

Thanks for the feedback

Exterior wise, I only use it for foot scuffs on lower door jambs. It seems to work amazing.

I do use on a whole bunch of surfaces on the interior. It is always great on steering wheels, gear shifters, dirty leather seating surfaces and plastic scuffs.
