Machine polisher

I have been thinking about getting a machine polisher but I am not sure what to get. I have been looking at the Flex XC 3401 VRG buffer or the Metabo PE 12-175 Rotary Buffer. I am really new to using a machine polisher. Any other suggestions?

what can you tell me about different pads, like what pad is good for what

get a few 6.5" white (polishing) and orange pads (light cut) and you'll be set...

CCS 6.5 inch foam pads, Lake country ccs foam pads, porter cable pads, ccs polishing pads, ccs pads, lake country ccs pads
