LTT leather care

I think it would be much more productive to your ulterior motives as well as to this forum if you PM'd JudyB to see if she'd send you a sample instead of dragging her name through the mud with innuendos about her credibility? With all the knowledge she brings to this forum about leather care, I'm very confident her products are amoung the very best. Just because she respects the rules of this forum and doesn't recommend her's or any other products doesn't make her "secretive about leather". I'm all in for a group buy!!

I was actually looking for reviews of the products before I had my friends drive from Dublin to Northern ireland to grab the products and ship them to me. I dont want to pay import fees, and foreign taxes on products I know nothing about.

I also find it absolutely silly that you spout off while knowing nothing about the subject at hand! 3 weeks agao i sent 3 PM's out in as many days asking for recommendations. YOU were one of those PM's David! Too good to respond to a Newb huh David?

This could also become a very good thread, and free advertisement for her products, if people werent so apprehensive about the subject.

I didn't get that at all from the OP's post.

You have a valid point & I commend you for your attempt to research ahead of time. Try this UK detailing forum

A world for detailers... and look up judyb & her products there. Many great reviews seeing that most of the posters are located on the same side of the planet as her market.

You must have me confused with someone else because I never blew you off because I never received a PM from you. Correction: I confused you with someone else and edited my post.

judyb’s contribution on this forum (and many others) has been no more than to clarify the do’s & don’t of proper leather care. For as long as I’ve been participating on Autopia, I’ve never come across another member that was more knowledgeable about leather care. The things judyb preaches (like keeping leather clean & using water-based protectants) have now become common place discussion among members.

I don’t recall this thought process being discussed prior to her presence. I don’t think her underlying motives are to push her’s or any other products. She’s probably one of, if not the most knowledgeable members that has direct industry ties that doesn’t try spamming her products. Doesn’t that say anything about her integrity? Instead many (like you) take her posts as secretive and/or misleading which in turns forms into apprehensiveness. Because of her direct link to the industry, she is not permitted to discuss her products here without being banned. I don’t think that would benefit her or this forum.

The answers about the right products are out there if you put the pieces together and try searching. Based on the character of this “Wizard behind the curtain” and her industry changing views on leather care, I’m certain LTT products are well worth the money. Review or not, as soon as my current stock of leather care products are out, I’m planning on ordering some to try.

You guys must have missed this one:

Ok david, baby steps.

My name is BOSTONBULL, my real name is Jim not will. i am an Arborist not a detailer. i am looking to gain knowledge not make money.

Leather is a sensitive issue here. Its either no definitive tests have been done, every car manufacturers leather is worlds different, or noone has a clue as to proper leather care and flys by the seat of their pants.

I am going to be giving my $$$ to JudyB this week. When i get the products and use them on my Jeeps seats which haven't been cleaned in ages I will review. If they are as good as I think they are, I will be her only cheerleader on this board.

Isn't posting PM's against board rules, sir?

One more thing I hate the Yankees, Bostonsfavson LOVES them.

I do admire the fact that you changed my name to accentuate your lies......its kinda cute!

You must have me confused with someone else because I never blew you off. You’ve only approached me through PM’s once (below) & we replied back & forth a few times. Nothing about leather care was asked about or discussed? Forget about this:

Per PM:

I can post the rest of the PM we sent back and forth if you need me to.....

And I see your point about my TWO ( :wow: ) posts in a 4 page thread about 'secretive leather'

The first was confirming what JudyB said in a thread in 2008, that besides LTT and LM she wont recommend anything else, which means I was right 90% of the crap out there is junk.

The second post of mine was asking for reviews of LTT before I buy them. SHAME ON ME for not wanting to throw hard earned dollars around. I should have bought it and foun out myself how it works!!!!!!!!

*Lesson learned!* :thx

Why did you delete your post?

I didn't delete my post - I edited it because I obviously had you confused with someone else named BostonXXX that PM'd me. That just reassures me that I never received your PM about Leather care. Capiche?
