You have a valid point & I commend you for your attempt to research ahead of time. Try this UK detailing forum
A world for detailers... and look up judyb & her products there. Many great reviews seeing that most of the posters are located on the same side of the planet as her market.
You must have me confused with someone else because I never blew you off. You’ve only approached me through PM’s once (below) & we replied back & forth a few times. Nothing about leather care was asked about or discussed? Forget about this:
Per PM:
I can post the rest of the PM we sent back and forth if you need me to.....
judyb’s contribution on this forum (and many others) has been no more than to clarify the do’s & don’t of proper leather care. For as long as I’ve been participating on Autopia, I’ve never come across another member that was more knowledgeable about leather care. The things judyb preaches (like keeping leather clean & using water-based protectants) have now become common place discussion among members.
I don’t recall this thought process being discussed prior to her presence. I don’t think her underlying motives are to push her’s or any other products. She’s probably one of, if not the most knowledgeable members that has direct industry ties that doesn’t try spamming her products. Doesn’t that say anything about her integrity? Instead many (like you) take her posts as secretive and/or misleading which in turns forms into apprehensiveness. Because of her direct link to the industry, she is not permitted to discuss her products here without being banned. I don’t think that would benefit her or this forum.
The answers about the right products are out there if you put the pieces together and try searching. Based on the character of this “Wizard behind the curtain” and her industry changing views on leather care, I’m certain LTT products are well worth the money. Review or not, as soon as my current stock of leather care products are out, I’m planning on ordering some to try.
You guys must have missed this one:
