My 1997 Nissan pathfinder has been neglected. I used to wax it at least on a monthly basis and since I got my miata a year ago it has only seen a 1 wax since last year. Its been repainted due to being keyed on the drivers side and the hood. that paint is oxidizing. its really bad on the hood. I am attaching pics of what I have done so far by hand. and Yes I am really tired after maybe 1/4 of the hood.
I am looking for a product that I can use by hand to get rid of haze that is left my the 3M finess it compound. is there a readily available over the counter light compound that is stronger than Meg's scratch x? I dont have the funds at the moment to get a DA buffer but it is on the list.
I use the pathfinder mainly for taking the dogs to the river and going to my cabin. there are scuffs and such from tree limbs, and plenty of chips. all I am looking for is a halfway presentable ride.
any help would be appriciated.
Thanks
Mike
this is a pic of what the rest of the vehicle looks like gloss wise.
