This is my friend's dad's friend's S2000. We started working on it about 2 weeks ago. We dropped the whole front end and sprayed the whole engine bay. We just finished up the body on Saturday. We still have to spray the doors, hood, bumpers, mirrors, and spoiler. After we do that, we are going to wet sand with 1500, 2000, and 3000 grit sandpaper. By the time were done, its going to be completely orange peel and swirl free.

Just in case anyone was wondering, it has an Injen cold air intake and a Skunk2 Racing exhaust. When he is done doing all of this, he is supercharging it.

More pictures to come later.

Looking good! Is he doing anything to the rear axles to support the power? Apparently S2Ks have really weak back ends.

This is the car with the hood and doors and new windshield on. The doors are being repainted due to a mismatch. They are a little bit lighter than the body of the car. During the course of the next week, the bumpers, mirrors, spoiler, and gas cap are going to be painted and installed. Then the next week we are going to wetsand the whole car. Enjoy these pictures.

The S2K is a clean car itself, but this is going to be hell of a transformation. Cant wait till its all complete.

He told me it would cost like 6 grand. He went really in depth though. He dropped the whole front end and ripped out the interior and sprayed pretty much everything.
