Ketchup stains on leather?

Trying to help a friend out here remove some ketchup stains that occurred over the weekend in her new RAV4. I have tried lexol PH with brushing and a towel with no luck. Stain lightened a bit but hasnt removed it completely, was wondering if anyone had any tips on how I could get this out.




 
What the heck happened ? Did a bottle explode, or someone sat on dozen packs from mc donald's, etc ? :)

I threw away anything that said Lexol over 15 years ago so cant speak about them now.. They were worthless leather products back then...

Not sure about Toyota leather if its really leather or what...

If it was in my Shop, I would try Einszett Deep Plastic Cleaner carefully on 1 little spot to see the results.

And go to Leather Master Deep Cleaner, etc., from there if not getting results, and after, making sure to put a conditioner back down to get it back to normal again.. I mean something to protect the seats and hopefully keep them from absorbing staining stuff again..

Optimum makes a good leather cleaner conditioner as well, that has a pleasant, non lingering smell to it..

Get a spray bottle, add 20 oz of water (distilled if you have it) add 1 oz of regular Woolite, shake, spray - rub easy with terry cloth towel. Repeat if needed.
 
I have tried some APC on my leather seats for stubborn stains when Lexol does not take them out. Make sure to use some leather conditioner afterwards.
 
just mix some mild type detergent with distill water. Mix the solution to create suds. Put a clean soft sponge in the solution and wring it completely. Now rub the damp sponge over the stain and once when some of the traces of the stain disappear, wipe it off with a clean MF cloth.
