KARCHER Pressure washer suction feature

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UE3lT6f_cA&feature=relatedI ahve the suction hose attachment and have had several KARCHER pressure washer but nevr was able to use to suck water from a static source (standing water.via tank or drum) unit made a horrible sound so I shut it down to pervent damage it to the pump wonder if anyone had similar situation?

The one in the video appears to be made to pull from a non pressurized water source. The units that I have seen in stores have a suction feature to introduce soap into the water. Do you have that exact model pictured?

K2 series is not designed to suck water from a bucket or something like that. For that you need K3 series and above.

Yep,.. what has already been said. I am personally going to go with the Karcher K5.740 and see how it performs.
