Jump starter boxes

Yeah but...(I'm trying to defend myself here), I used to think these were silly, too. But a couple of my friends got devices like these, I got to thinking about it, then this thread came along, and a battery in one of my cars started to scare me...I generally don't change a battery until the car won't start, and I always do it myself. Plus most of these things will do many starts (I think the Noco says 20), and they are lithium so they should hold a charge for a long time. And finally...jumper cables...you need to find someone to help you, with one of these things, you just hook it up and go, no worries about clearance to the jumping vehicle, etc.

My GOOLOO had been in the trunk for 4 months and the charge was still 100%. I got to use it a few weeks ago to jump my dad's car. It is a lot more convenient than jumpers and definitely safer for high tech cars.. I got it because my new vehicle is a FEHV and some have reported issues with battery drain issues so some left stranded. I have always carried jumper cables so this takes up less space.

It is also a good power source for 12V and USB devices and phones in an emergency.

It is not a plug in hybrid but just has a gas engine and a small high voltage battery. The engine connects to an inverter to power the drive motors and charge the high voltage battery. The electronics work off the 12V battery.;

That sounds like a hybrid, which I believe would be referred to as an HEV, what does FEHV stand for? I'm only familiar with EV (Electric Vehcilcle), HEV (Hybrid Electric Vehicle), and PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle).

I got thrown of by Bunky posting FEHV, as opposed to FHEV. So and FHEV is a subset of HEV's, along with MHEV's?

I kind of thought mild hybrids were at thing of the past, and therefore everything was lumped into HEV, but it seems within that there are FHEV's and MHEV's.
