Interior trim glue?

Anyone know what's a good and strong glue to use for interior carpet trims that are peeling back? The carpet lining on both my front doors are peeling away. It would be nice to find a glue that dries fast so I don't have to press down on it forever.

Or maybe this is a good time to replace the old looking carpet with new material and make a day project out of it?

probably just a thin film of good ole crazy glue/super glue. the thin film will dry fast and shouldn't bleed into the carpet making it crusty.

I use the 3M spray trim adhesive. It worked like a contact adhesive that you spray on both surfaces, wait, stick together. Works well and available just about everywhere.
