Interior Plastic Scratches

Hey guys, love the forum

I have some pretty bad scratches from God knows what on the plastic that covers my gauges on my 2004 mustang I just bought.



I was wondering if there were any suggestions as to what method/ product would best remove them.

Hopefully I won have to replace the piece.



I'll snap some pictures of the damage when i get home from work

Meg's PlastX will remove or cut down on the scratches, if they're really deep 3000 grit wetsand the first, if they still don't come out entirely hide whats left with Plexus.

My new puppy got his big paws on my New Beetle's black dash the other day and left some scratches on it too... I thought I might actually have to paint it.



I used Meguiars Scratch-X first and then followed up with PlastX afterwards... low and behold, it took them right out! Granted, they weren't super-deep but definitely visible enough that I could see them.



Washed up the residue with some woolite and soft water mix (1:6 ratio) and then some Mother's Back to Black... looks great now :bigups
