I'm Amazed By Some Of You!

Just One More Coat
I've been enjoying this site for some years now...what really amazes me is that some of you can remember that numbers of products, pads, shop vacs, extractors, generators, speeds, etc.

I've read many times

" I use the LC 4330 orange pad, with Megs 1005XP, with my PC 4331 set at speed 4.5 with the off set counter weight 0.5" WHAT??????

or

"Dose the Megs 1210 super cut-it bond with IP7224 magic glaze using a 620 Makita rotary with a Sonus 16L finishing pad at 650 RPM's" ???????

I think that's why I started using PB product there wasn't any numbers to remember:lmfao

Anyone that asks me about product I say "its the one that comes in the tall clear bottle that's pink in color, smells like bubble gum and has a blue sprayer nozzle on it"

OK I'm poking fun at this, I hope you know that! but I just have to roll some times when I read what some of you guys can remember...for that matter I have to go into the garage and bring the bottle back to the desk to remember any of the Mfger numbers

Thanks for reading and laughing with me!:howdy

Hey, if it's what you love....

I'm usually pretty good at remembering part numbers and whatnot for things I use all the time -- but if I'm trying to think of a product I rarely use, I do have to go to the garage and peek at the packaging to get numbers.

I understand the humor very much Beemerboy. There are a lot of numbers out there... are there not?

I really remember when I first started detailing. The people that provided the numbers were the ones that I used to do searches for that particular item. It did help me find things on this site as well as a manufacturer's site. But I am like you. I go to the bottle to make sure that I have what the numbers say. The green one...the one that smells good...the one in the odd shaped bottle...or the one that I got from a member.

I remember, in recent past, a fellow that gave a review of a product but failed to give numbers for the item. It caused a terrific stir.

Keep giving those numbers so I can compare to my blue bottle of what ever it is. Or that white pad that I used yesterday.

Meh, talking about number. I think the Merzena its the hardest to remember.
PF1056434589346?? or Uber8045 :howdy

well i do rember this is post 15somthing.. but thats about it lol. Yes you hit it bang on, im soooooooooo impresed by those who can rember numbers, I have enough trouble rembering my own name some days lol jk. :howdy

Thanks all I was thinking that it was just me for a while there or I was feeling pretty stupid that I couldn't recall any of the numbers of any of the products that I have

I have too much going through my head to remember anything else.
When I see a post with a ton of numbers, it kinda skim through, since I have no clue as to what is being said....I'm more of a picture book type of guy...hahaha

i have noticed this in my short time on the site, lol, but oddly enuf, its starting to rub off on me at work now, i'll mention something to my coworker bout what i used on such a car with what pad and buffer speed n whatnot lol at the same time though beign a newby to the site, its like learning to read another language at times, haha 1st time i saw ssr1 and/or PB PwC or EX-P etc... i was thinkin to myself, what the hell is that!!?? lol im catching on though each time i scroll the board :)

I picked up fairly quick, but it included 2 weeks of dizziness.

Then, things started to click, and what people were describing in certain situations was what I wanted. It's cool now, but I really only know 1/3 of the brands people use on here.

Ha, I've got a horrible memory, I can't ever remember part numbrrs after a couple days. I guess I'm guilty too
