If you could be a comic book character, who would you be?

I'd be Groo the Wanderer. Anybody ever read that? That was the most entertaining comic book I ever read. How about you? Who would you be?
 
I'd be Batman. He's the only main character that doesn't have super powers and still manages to fight crime. Not to mention the fact that he's got a ton of gadgets and an awesome car.
 
I guess that as a kid I always wanted to be the Flash. He was so fast that he could get there before he left. HA!

That is what I would like to be today also. what with the trip that looks me in the face at the moment. Getting there before I left means that I need not go casue I had already been there.

Depends on how fast they did it. There was a DC vs. Marvel series where they pitted superheroes from one line against the other. (Final results of the "battles" were determined by reader votes though. :rolleyes: ) They had The Hulk vs. Superman. End result: Hulk took Superman's "hardest blows and still kept coming back" but due to Supes' super speed, he punched the Hulk into a mountain base,which collapsed on him, giving Superman "initial victory" even if it didn't "finish the Hulk off." Or... so I heard... Not that I'd know, or anything.... :dnaughty
Theoretically, though, I would imagine that any of the magical, "godlike" or even elemental heroes could "reverse" the gamma effect and revert the Hulk back to Bruce Banner, then squash Bruce. Just my thoughts. :)
Oh, and I kinda like Captain Marvel. :D (Although id the question was "which comic character" instead of "superhero" the Beyonder had way more power, so obviously that would be my choice! ;) )

Well i am a great fan of both The HULK and Batman. I have been a huge Batman fan for years and i agree with the above statement about him. He has no specials powers but is still a Baddass. The Hulk well he speaks for himself and the movie was Fantsatic! After all HULK is the name of my truck and my personal plates on my truck are in fact HULK150.

I also would love being Wolverine.

Batman theme just did not work on a green truck and since he was my next fav comic book fan.

If we were having another boy instead of a girl then his name would have been Bruce. What does that tell you about what kind of a Batman fan I am? ;)
 
Oh yeah, and Bruce/Batman (last I heard) is a billionaire, now. So I guess that would help finance his toys. ;)

I've always been a Spider-Man fan, second in line would be Iron-Man (what can I say, I'm a marvel comic fan)
 
When I was in High School I always wanted to go be invisible so I could go into the girls locker room. Now that I am older I think I would like to have Professor X's powers. So many uses, idiots that cut me off on the interstate would be "gently moved" out of the way. I could influence the plant manager at work to move me up the ladder. Plus I could always use that power on the babydolls.
 
for me it is a toss up. i was raised on batman and will always have a soft spot. i had a collection of batman items that ran me about $4000.00 at one time. but i also love colossus from the xmen. i love his mutant power.

Yeah Colassus is badass. I sure hope they use him again in the New X Men Movie.
