Hybrid Solutions Black Wax

I have an older model black Toyota Tacoma that has been corrected multiple times over the years. The paint is starting to get thin and Im trying to use other options rather than polishing to enhance the paint and deal with the minor defects. I have found that using Poor Boys Black Hole does a pretty good job on the paint. I was however looking for a more durable topper than a traditional Carnuba wax that would bond with the Black Hole. I was wondering if I could apply The Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Acrylic Black Wax over the Black Hole for a longer lasting LSP or do you feel the Black Hole Glaze would interfere with the bonding. Thanks

If I recall, I`m pretty sure you can seal it in and still wax over Black Hole. You could always try the PB Sealant with carnauba in it and still add a carnauba wax. Might be overkill but should provide max filling capabilities.

Black Hole and White Diamond are both "synthetic" glazes that you can put a sealant on top of. I don`t see why that TW wouldn`t be fine.

Full disclosure: I haven`t used any of these products.

Agree. I haven`t used Black Hole in a really long time, but one of the reasons I did was the fact it was designed to topped with an LSP of some sort. I topped both Black Hole and Prima Amigo for years with Collinite 845 and it had no effect on the durability of the sealant.

As long as the topper product doesn`t have any abrasives in it (i.e. an AIO) you can probably top Black Hole with just about anything.
