How to clean or wash MF towels?

Mine are starting to get dirty again and I was wondering how do you wash them? This might have been answered but I couldn't find the thread. Thanks guys

To clean your microfiber towels, wash with warm water with Micro-Restore or Detailer's Pro Series Microfiber Cleaner and have them rinse well. The warm water opens up the Microfibers, allowing them to release the locked-in dirt. Placing the towels in a washing machine and then drying them in a dryer on low heat! Remember no fabric softeners of any kind should be used as these chemicals clog up the microfibers, making them less effective. Also don't forget bleach should also be avoided as it will damaged the fibers in the towels, making them less effective

I wash with a free and clear detergent. I also use vinegar in the wash(where the fabric softener would go) Then dry with low heat! Works wonderfully!

I wash them with Charlie's Soap and with vinegar in the washing machine's slot for fabirc softener. Low to medium heat in the dry. I noticed my most premium quality MFs fluff right up time and again over years now.

Yes, this topic has been discussed countless times in numerous threads. The short and sweet as mentioned above:

1) Laundry detergent - Buying the "free & clear" variety will help you to avoid fabric softeners and bleaches which are components of other varieties and we really don't need the added perfurmes.
2) Add vinegar (5% white) to the rinse cycle - 1/4 - 1 cup depending on the size of the load

From there you can add all types of twists and tricks ie.
1) Pre-soaking towels in an APC solution - this pre-cleaning step can help to reduce the amount of grime and residues out of the tub of your washing machine.
2) Adding Oxy-Clean (or other laundry "booster") to the wash cycle
3) Use a microfiber specific cleaner
4) Adding additional rinse cycle

Here are a couple of the above mentioned threads:

I've used Charlie's soap, micro restore, Pinnacle' micro rejuvenator and the one from Pakshak. All have worked very well and I don't have any complaints.

On towels that are especially dirty I will presoak in a bucket with DP pad rejuvenator or APC

Alright so pretty much soak them in warm water add the free and clear detergant and low heat on the dryer. Could I just air dry them? Cus usually after a wash i just hang them up and let em dry.

I always air dry my MF towels. When dry I put them in the dryer for about 5 mins with a set of blue dryer balls which helps remove static cling.

Some folks wash glass MFs separately too to avoid contamination from the "regular" MFs for better glass cleaning.

What kind of glass towels? The smooth kind? I separate my general purpose "dirty" towels from everything else.

That's a good idea regardless.
