how often do you go to the dentist?

Twice a year for cleanings, more if I need some kind of preventive/corrective work. All my life I've had to deal with cavities and fillings, but my teeth are straight as can be.

Every four months. I'm a bit of a fanatic about oral hygiene- brush after every meal, floss at least once a day, I even scale off any tarter I notice building up. It pays off in that visits to the dentist are painless experiences.

Every 6 months. I have to have my wisdom teeth pulled and I have been putting that off for over a year now. I need to make that appointment.

Teeth cleaned every 3 months, as the tech says "you're real good a making plaque!" Trust me, after years of neglect, I've spent a tidy sum on dental work. Prevention is the key. Find a dentist you feel comfortable with and GO on a REGULAR basis. The more you put it off, the more it's going to cost!

Every three months......I went over 15 years without going at all and after I paid through the nose for my new gums I don't miss anymore. The prospect of no teeth in my golden years kinda sux so I am doing all I can from now until then.....

My insurance doesn't cover it, but if anything that prompts me to go more often. I don't want anything to get serious since it would just cost more (in pain, money, and hassle).

Every 6 months. I had fluoride treatments as a kid for many years. I think that has helped me in preventing many problems. The only issue I have had is one filling (and I think he was a bit eager to do it).

I brush twice a day and swish with dilluted Listerine and knock on wood, I've been ok.

I went 7 years without going...then my wife started Dental Hygeine school...I was her first experimental patient. Now I go every six months and have had a great deal of repair work done. YAHOO for free dental care...
