how often do you change pads?

well i just received my bottle of OP so i decided to use it w/the PC.the hood,1 fender,and 2 doors later it seemed like the pad was really dirty around the edges and it didnt seem like it was removing anything anymore(green sonus pad).i didnt want to go to the orange pad so i went to the blue pad and of course it didnt do that well either.am i trippin or can a pad be useless after only a few pannels?i only have light swirles and scratches.the hood looks really good but every pannel after that i saw a decline in swirl removal.

the pad will cake with product if you're using too much...i typically change pads once when doing a normal sized car (so two total pads for each type needed). i also use a pad cleaning brush inbetween to keep it fresh.

I go through 3 Orange pads per car, or 4-6 4" pads... Changing them often keeps them working faster, if I had more I would use more! :lock:
