How long does it take you to detail?

Can you guys give me an idea of how long it takes you to do a job?



eg wash, wax and more involved processes like clay, polish seal, interiors...etc
 
On average, full details take me 4-5 hours for a car, 5-8 for large trucks, SUVs and minivans. More if they have trashed interiors or paint.



A quick wash and wax using Optimum's Car Wax takes just over an hour on most cars.

Same for me.
 
a full exterior/interior detail takes me 5-7 hours. More if the paint is hard, the customer wants a flawless exterior, etc etc. about an hour and a half for a wash/wax. interior vacum and dressing takes about an hour.

Compact Car...............3 Hours

Mid-Size Car................4 Hours

Full-Size Car................5 Hours



Small Pick-up Truck......3 Hours

Mid-Size Pick-up Truck..4 Hours

Full-size Pick-up Truck...5 Hours



Small Sport Utility.........5 Hours

Large Sport Utility.........6 Hours

HUMMER.......................8 Hours

The same with the exception that we use two people , on the full size trucks and Suv. This way the time is cut down to real time 2.5 hrs, billable time 5hrs. We also machine polish, steam int. Hummers are in a class all by themselfs. We did a interior only on a 94 Honda two door that was so $#&(%&)^) filthy that it took 3 hours.
