I got mine tinted a few months ago and the installer said to not open the windows for one week and to wait one month before cleaning them - and when I do clean them to not use an amonia-based cleaner.

wow, thats an aweful long time . . .

i suppose it also depends on the type of tint used and the caliber of the bonding agent used . . .

A fellow co-worker of mine runs a tint shop out of his garage in los banos, CA - I have had three vehicles done by him . . .

he suggests not to use the windows or touch the glass for a few days, especially if the vehicle wont be out in the direct sun. The preffered method of many tint shops (at least around here in the bay area) is a soapy water soloution that evaoprates clear - once that has dried, the glue has cured.

Using a tint-safe glass cleaner, you could go clean your windows right now IMO . . . your cleaning the inside of your glass anyway - so you really dont need apply a lot, if any pressure.....

i've got my windows tinted a few times (different cars) and you should wait at least 48 hours (before rolling them down or cleaning them & also it depends on the weather), and obviously not use any glass cleaner with ammonia...

i wiped it down with a glass cleaning mf.. very lightly.. just got rid of the residue from the spray.. it seems fine.. the film didnt move or anything
