Hey guys...I just bought a 2009 Ford GT500 convertible and am lurking around here to make SURE I properly detail my car...lol

I'm guessing to see if the dealer detailed it?...no, I didn't...BUT they didn't install the front license plate bracket....lol....

Ok cool .I grew up in South ozonepark .I used to go to JHS 210, My Mom Taught in 202 . I work for the Dept of ED and am I supervising Head It tech For Queens.
 
Hey....I lived in Ozone Park for 2 years...Dumont Avenue....I'm in Lindenwood section of Howard Beach...aka LindenHood...haha
 
What's up!...lived for a couple of months in Flushing....194 street and Northern Boulevard....Auberndale.....real nice area
 
Hey...for all you fellow Queens people...anybody live in a building?...and if so....where do you wash your cars?...I know of one self service carwash....with the wand...off exit 32 on the Southern State....any place closer?...I'm looking to rent a garage soon...right now the car is at my brother's house in NJ....but when I get a garage, I doubt there will be a hose available....lol

You travel all the way to exit 32 to wash your car. I live off exit 43A the end of the Southernstate.
 
Well...my current daily driver is a 2003 Mustang GT..when I bought it new...yeah...for the first few years I drove out there....late at night...like 10 or 11 to wash it...the last time, a cop came by and said it really wasn't safe for me...I don't know Long Island sowell...so it's been automated car washes since...I know...I know...but the car is a NYC car...kind of beat up...use it to drive back and forth to my construction job...lol..so I don't really care...but the Shelby is my weekend car....haha..so it will FOREVER get the white glove treatment...lol

No as I only hand wash my cars all year around . There is one down longbeach road called the Texas car wash .THat is alot closer to you
 
Yeah....but is it the type where you put quarters in and wash it yourself?....that is the only type car wash I will use....
 
theres that everywhere... one on the gulf off if you get of utopia pwky(off the cemetery before 164st) on the l.i.e going westbound, and theres one right by my house on parsons and union turnpike, its a citgo i think
 
oh cool....thanks....do you know if it's open late....being that I would want to wash my car when there are no people waiting....you know?...but yeah, thanks again for the info...thought those types of car washes were extinct in Queens...haha
