What is the complete definition of haze?

my understanding it is when ur polish / wax becomes very dry and sand-like after bonding / drying.

i believe u do need this stage when u use a PC/orbital but by hand u usually want the solution be wet and NEVER haze.

why do ppl add QD or dampness to MF removal or other applicators?

help a me out! thanks

Your understanding of a polish or wax hazing over is the same as mine, and of many others.

The requirement of hazing depends on the product itself and not on the method in which the product is applied. Many sealants require a drying/hazing time. With some waxes, such as p21s/s100 and souveran, it is recommended to remove the product before hazing occurs in order to make removal easier.

When people talk about the "klasse haze," however, it usually refers to a holographic effect left from incomplete removal of dried klasse SG. more noticeable on dark colors.

dampening an applicator makes it easier to spread a product thinner. This may cause adverse effects with some products; i've experienced greater difficulty in removal when I dampen my p21s/s100 applicator, or when i accidentally (sometimes deliberately, out of laziness) run my applicator over a wet spot. Dampening a cloth for removal makes it easier to remove a product.
