Has anyone tried JW's Carlack68 Glass Sealing Kit?

It is a new product being carried by Jeff's Werkstatt and their German partner Carlack. I will probably order some as a substitute for RainX and Aquapel but was curious if anyone had tried it.

Hi,

I am from the UK and purchased some a while ago....if you visit cleanyourcar.co.uk you will there is a forum and i think some members mentioned it.

Basically you get a good chemical cleaner, it doesnt remove (or in my case) any scratches in the glass. The screen comes up super clean much like many of the glass polishes. It doesnt flash as quickly as the Autoglym Glass Polish.

The sealant worked well on my glass and i use 303 Wiper Tablets, what you use might effect how long the water repelling lasts. Beading is dense and once your above 40 or so the beads rocket off the screen.

I can easily get about 4 weeks out of one application in London weather. However i found that it doesnt look as good from the outside once the sealant has been applied and washed after a few weeks. Even applying a QD over the window doesnt seem to really improve things.

Thats really being picky, its a pratical product that works and i think you will be pleased. It doesnt casuse any stuttering of the wiper blades or squeeks. Bug juice is easily wiped away as its traffic film.

PS. A heads up on the Carlack, i have the AIO and sealer its the same/so similar as Klasses but cheaper. Old fashion system that still looks good but you can probably find better. Slip some Chemical Guys EZ Creme Glaze after the AIO and before the sealant and before every lay of sealant to get an extra, and worth while boost in looks!

I have it on 3 cars right now and its excellent. Fairly easy to put on, I just add a splash of water to remove the cleaner AND then the sealant. The cleaner is best applied by PC/UDM in my experience.

I actually put 2 coats of sealant on as it boosts the run off, and it seems to last well. 6 weeks on the screens so far and no obvious drop in performance.
