*Edit* fixed the thread. Sorry for the prior lack of effort. Yesterday was ugly for me.
This gentleman had spend $900 at other shops trying to get this car fixed up to my starting on the detail. The job took my assistant and I from 9 am to 11 pm to finish.
House shampoo
large ww dry
clay with onr
wheels got wheel brightener, sonax then p21s wheel gel
swissvax brush and daytona wheel brush
makita rotary and flex 3401 with a combination of the following:
purple wool pad, orange foam, white foam, gray foam
SIP, m105, super finish
Lots of alcohol
Sealed up with power lock
Tires got 1z
Glass touched up with Stoner's.
Wheels got treated with wheel brightener, sonax and then p21s gel.
Foamed with my own special blend
Ready for polish...(urgh)
Bird spots and water spots and more!
The problems covered the whole car, not just one small spot of the hood.
Bird spots. I did my best to capture them.
Fixed
Cleaned up but before final polishing(more shine left).
Onto the fender.
Doing "my thing" with some SIP.
After my first pass I noticed some pretty heavy scratches.
Checked to see how aggressive I could get and saw this...
So I fixed it.
She cleaned up well
He NEEDS a belt
...and never comes close to the paint with it.
