Gunk Window Cleaner review...

The gunk window cleaner is 'ok'.

It is very mediocre in every aspect.

Cleaning ability - not as good as most others. I've found 50/50 to clean deeper. Yet it does clean better than windex slightly.

Ease of Use - this is my biggest draw back. The compressed can foam type spray idea is AWFUL. Because of the angle that windows are at, when it is sprayed in the wind, the spray goes EVERYWHERE. The nozzle does not create enough velocity to get the lightweight foam onto the surface a lot of times. A traditional plastic bottle / plastic nozzle works MUCH better.

Streaking - Alright. Not great not bad. Nothing extraordinary.

I won't buy it again.

Thanks for the review. I'm fairly sure I've seen this product for a reasonable price here as well. Not that I'm a fan of aerosol products - in general I try to avoid them whenever I can because of overspray and the problems you described.

I had picked up a bottle of this for the company car one time because it was $2 or something reasonable.

Similar cleaning power of IG--don't attack any bugs or water spots with it but it does work on the inside of glass remarkably well. Knocks out haze and doesn't streak. All in all, I have to nod my head towards IG because this stuff tries to foam, and in doing so, is VERY easily affected by the wind.

Good for the frequently smoked in company car, though :xyxthumbs
