Griot's Leather Car Scent?

Does anyone have any experience or opinions on this product?

It says it smells like factory-new leather(I love that smell).

I was just wondering if it smells any good??

Every "new car smell" air dreshener or spray I've tried smells like a toxic chemical spill. Never works out the way you'd hope.

LOL! I have been in that search for years! Don2000g did not recommend this stuff, said it smelled chemical like. Geekysteve also said it smells very harsh and not much like leather in large doses. It depends on your nose, many know that I have been in the search for the leather smell for quite a while now. The closest i have come is the pinnacle leather conditioner. That smells very similar to leather, not quite but very close. It smells like leather but a little fruity, very hard to describe a smell. Well if I find something I will definitely post it. BTW, I find that all new cars leather smell different(I don't know if the rest of you do). If I sit in a car at a dealership with a blindfold on, 80% of the time i can tell you what kind of car it is by the smell of the leather/new car smell. My nose is very picky, ill keep u updated!
 
i agrea all car brands smell diffreent- with toyota and lexus being the strongest. my 97 4runner smelled new 2 years and 50k miles into its life. gmc usually dont have a strong new car smell-may be b/c they sit for a while before being purchased the same with honda/ acura my 2000 accord never realy smelled new. have yall thought maybe this whole new car smell is just a game from the car company's? they know that when some one else gets a new car and you smell it you automaticly get the fever ? j/k:)
 
I used it two years ago. It smelled good at first and lasted a day or two. Then the scent seemed to disappear. The leather treatment smells like leather also.
