i detailed a neighbor's 2011 kia soul today and decided to try out a host of griot's garage products.

the car is about a year old now and barely has 2k miles, so it's a garage queen except for short daily trips. the paint looked to be in good shape, but silver paint has a way of hiding dirt and defects.
after a two bucket wash with eimann fabrik's auto spa gentle shampoo & conditioner, the finish still felt a little rough, so i got into claying the surface with the gg yellow clay. one pass on half of the hood and the clay was black, not a good sign. all of the upper surfaces were the same, very contaminated. the yellow clay worked great and the entire surface was smoothed out quickly.
next i moved on to polishing with gg machine polish #3 on a gg orange pad using my gg 6"da. pretty mild stuff, but it has a long working time. dusting wasn't bad at all. it left a clean, smooth surface so i moved on to the sealing stage using gg paint sealant on a gg red pad. the sealant seems a liitle thin and tends to settle out quickly, so i had to shake it up a lot while working, but it went on smoothly. i waited for a light haze and polished it off using a microfiber towel. don't let it set too long, it seems to grow a little harder to remove with too much time. it does leave a pretty slick finish with a decent gloss.
after letting it cure an hour or so, i topped it off with some of gg spray-on wax. very easy to apply, but i did notice a little streaking. a quick buff with a microfiber towel cleaned it right up. i have used the spray on wax before, but it was right after washing and rinsing my own truck and there was no streaking at all with a lightly wet surface when applied. the wax seemed to improve the shine of the sealant.
i also used megs #40 on the tires and trim and black barron foam pad lubricant on the red and orange pads.
the first picture in line was a before picture, the rest were post detailing. all in all, i liked the griot's products and the owner was very happy with the results.
