Grease for Harbor Freight DA Gears

I`m modifying my HF da buffer with more and better gear grease. I don`t need a lot. Is Super Lube synthetic ok? Any others? Thanks very much.

Sure any high quality synthetic is great. Put more in there then when you opened it FILL it up. The housing you put back on has a round sticker on it take it off. After all together turn on slow. Any extra lub will come out. Wipe off do it again faster speed. Put duck tape over the hole. I think some may be under filled from factory. Don`t expect a huge difference.

Thanks. At least it may be better for the motor. Many report a smoother running machine, too. I haven`t used it on my car yet.

How many ounces of Super Lube do I need to buy to replace the grease in the HF polisher?

One 7-oz tube seemed sufficient for me. And there was some left.
