Dave kindly sent me half a bottle to try out as I was really intrigued by the new black coating.

The temperature around here has been touching the 100 degree mark and my garage is not air conditioned so I figured I would do the car in stages. I used 3D One on a Rupes yellow pad and followed with an Eraser wipedown.

Graphene was the easiest coating I have used as far as application and wipe off. I used a microfiber coating saver applicator and applied in a cross hatch manner. I wiped off with an IGL coating removal towel (I really like these).

Graphene would be a great beginners coating. Easy on and easy off and looks great as you can see from the picture. Now let’s see how it holds up to daily wear and tear.

Again thanks to Dave for the coating. Surprisingly the dark coating did not darken the paint at all, it actually made the silver pop. The paint looks fantastic and is very reflective a very nice coating!

Nice review!

Will be interesting to follow your experience with this coating.

And nice to hear that your back is better. Hope it gets even better as the time goes on.

The ease of application with this version is a big plus. The first version that came out was pretty tough. It is unusual to put on a dark color substance but have it cure completely transparent. Did you do one coat or two?

It should look even better after the first wash.

Hope your back continues to improve.
