Well, title says it all.....wife is 39 weeks.......
Getting ready to walk out the door to go to the hospital........
was up till 4:30 in the Morning got 3 hours of sleep. Thought we had to go last night. She was dialated to a 2 cm yesterday, I imagine she is closer to the 6 she needs to be at today. Contractions hard and steady at 5-8 minutes apart.
Hope it's not another false alarm.
It's gonna be a boy......this will make kiddo number 4.


Lets hope that the next time I get on the forum, I'll be a new Daddy!!!!
Will have to pass out Cyber-Cigars!!!!

I'll keep everyone updated...............

Update..........

We came back with an empty carseat.:wall
Wife was only dialated to a 3 cm.
How crumby. We actually thought that this was the time. The doc sent her home, even though she is having contractions every 5-8 minutes apart. There goes more gas on the 25 minute drive one way. So now the wife is miserable. Walking around the house and squating, trying to get that extra cm or two.
I really wish that it would happen, but now we know it WILL happen within the next 24-36 hours. IT HAS TO.
Sorry I kept everyone wondering. I got home and crashed out. I only got 3 hours of sleep last night.

I guess I'll let everyone know again, when we hit the road to the Hospital........... ....Again
 
Well, they say "practice makes perfect", so I guess you're getting pretty good at the drive ;)
What's for dinner - more beer & pizza??
 
Only people from Detail City would take the time to sign onto Detail City and let everyone know they are leaving to go have a baby! Now if you said you Spray-N-Glossed the car before you left for the hospital and again when you got home from the false alarm.....that would be classic! Good luck whenever she has it. Stay patient with her..its not ALL her fault....you helped her get that way!

Yea, but I already had practice with the 3 others. I may get the shop vac out and suck him out. hahaha

What can you do though but deal with it? Just wait. Wife has been having more and more contractions........hope they do something soon. My sleep scedule is so out of whack right now.

As for dinner.......I guess I'll just pop some waffles in the toaster.......:bigups

HAHAHAHA, if I stopped to S&G the car, I do not htink I'd be sitting here right now.

"wait a minute honey, a bug just hit the car, I have to pull over."
I woulda been seeing 2 tail lights getting smaller and smaller.....


As for getting on and posting, was not in too big of a hurry, had to drop the other kiddos off at a relatives house too. She just said, we need to go soon, so I had a few minutes she said.......

Sorry to hear that you only came home with one passenger.

I wouldn't be hoping for more than those 3 hours of sleep tonite either if the Mrs. is that close, don't forget kids love to get born in the middle of the night.
