I followed a hint from here and PC'd my glass last weekend. I used Carlack 68 at a speed of 4-5 and a white LC pad and got great results - it didn't do much on the few scratches I have but it shifted all the water spots.



Finished with NXT glass cleaner and very happy with the results!
 
Try the glass polishing system from Eastwood if you want to get scratches out of glass. It comes with the compound which you mix up and a wheel which attaches to a drill. It works really well.



The pad that comes with this kit is very dense. I'm not sure anyong makes a pad like this suitable for a PC that would be able to remove any serious scratch.
