getting stickers off of leather

How would you people go about getting the adhesive from stickers off of finished/coated leather? I'm at a stand still as I don't want to use something that will ruin the leather. I thought about using goo gone, but on the back of the bottle it says not recommended for leather.

Why are there stickers on your leather?

A friend of mine has a child that put stickers on their leather furniture. He asked if I had any ideas and I told him I'll check. It's all up to you folks now.

I'd try some leather cleaner like 1Z Lederpflege (also a conditioner). It might work, but it can't hurt to try right?

The bottle says it's safe for all types of finished leather, but not for buckskin or deerskin types.

Just hit it with a hair dryer and bring the temperature up (not too much). Sticker adhesives loose their ability to stick when they are warm. You can also use a very warm washcloth, just be careful about getting the leather too wet.

I don't know but i tell you that goo gone is the best stuff around. I've had cars where i've tried 4 or 5 degreasers and none worked, then broke out Goo Gone and it wipe the tar out.

Beat me to it!

I have used goo-gone on my coated leather seats to remove paint (after helping wifes friend paint their house against my wishes) with no ill effects. I did use a leather cleaner and conditioner right afterwards. I do not know how this would fair on analine/nubuck ect. I like the idea of heating it and using warm water or leather cleaner.

Warming up the adhesive by using a hair dryer is the safest way to remove a sticker from any surface, including leather.
