Well here are the results from my recent garage project. I decided to go with the UCoatIt epoxy floor coating.

Light grey base and color coat with the granite flecks. Top coat with UGloss clear coat.

I really like how it came out, i just hope it will hold up to the new england elements.

Thanks for looking!

Very nice. I did my garage with the Rust-Oleum Epoxy Shield. My next garage will be done with Ucoat it.

lOOKS GOOD...Please keep us updated as the snow flys and floor gets well used:) If it holds up I may do it to my floor next summer.

Yes, please let us know how it holds up. I'd like to put some kind of flooring in my garage, but I'm leaning towards one of those mats you can get from autogeek. I'm just a little concerned about the flooring peeling faster than it might as a result of rough winters and heavy usage.

Looks great. I plan to start with my walls first. The part I hate about doing the floor is: the cars have to set outside too long.

The floor looks great, nice job. How hard was it to put down? What was the duration bewteen cleaning the concrete and being able to drive on it? Like everyone else I am curious how it will hold up as well. Where in New England are you specifically?

hey guys thanks for all the positive feedback. I swept, degreased and power washed on the first day. On the second day i muriatic etched using the watering can method. I then spot treated more spots with the degreaser and powerwashed again. The third day i put down the base coat. Fourth day i put down the color coat with fleks. Fifth day i put down the clearcote.

It was a pretty straight forward procedure. The movie/DVD that came with the kits helped map out the whole project. The directions say to let the clearcote cure for 5-7 days, then you can drive on it. After the clearcote was laid down, it was dry enough to walk on the next day. Tomorrow i will finally be able to park my car back in the garage!

As for the walls, thats the next step. Im planning a egg shell white walls with a blue chest stripe. Finishing touches include black vinyl base trim.

Oh yea im from CT in the tristate area!

I would like to do something like this once my garage is all cleaned out! I have a few grease and oil stains, Does this stuff come with a cleaner, to ensure adhesion?

Sorry guys havent been around for a bit and lost my password. The total cost was $600 shipped to my door. I ordered the Uprep kit, the UCoat Kit, and the Uflek-AF kit.

Great price as its about $4.50-5 a sq ft to have a pro come and do it. They do sand down the concrete though.

I used a pro to etch the garage floor, but the rest comes with the kit. No need for anything else. We started on a Friday and finished Sunday. Put in about 30 minutes a day if you count clean up. Not much to it. Our garage is 980sqft.
