This drawing is impressive no matter what drawing instrument he used. It appears he uses a 50 cent Bic, makes the drawing that much more impressive.

Check out the Velocity Channel show "Iron Resurrection". Joe Martin, the shop owner does a similar process for his concept drawings of the project cars. No fancy tools-he just grabs a piece of paper and a Bic pen and whips out a finished drawing.
