Foam Gun or Leaf Blower

probably foam gun. Both decrease the amount of marring you'll induce in your paint but the foam gun helps in a really critical phase -- when the car is dirty. After the car is clean you can rub it with good towels (this is the key) and not induce swirling. I say pony up and get both.

I have to say I use the leaf blower much more than the foam gun. Use the blower almost every wash but the gun only when the car is pretty dirty or when I plan to strip it.

I maintain the following three BLACK cars: 2005 Corvette, 2007 Mercedes E63 AMG, 2004 Mercedes C320. I use both a foam gun AND a leaf blower. I really don't see the comparison as each play totally different roles. The foam gun washes the car and the leaf blower dries it. What are we comparing here?

I guess I could use the Leaf blower as a BLOWER only and use that around the yard, or would that not be advaisable?

I vote foamgun.

I can dry a vehicle without marring it as long as I get the dirt off first. But I can't wash the dirt off without marring unless I use a foamgun.

I *do* enjoy using my AirWand/blower to dry, but its the foamgun that lets me go ages without polishing.

Foam gun, gotta get some of that dirt off before touching the paint. If the car is kept up, water will run right off, especially if you use the flooding method. But I use both.
