nice video...just proves what i already knew tho :dance ...I have messed up plenty of exotics in my car before... :nervous: ... And evo's have much more potential then my car...which is maxed out performance wise...good find...

I always say it's more fun to do more with less.:)

My son and I were on the set of Fast and Furious Tokyo last Friday night and there was a Evo IX in the hands of a stunt driver that was out of this world!

That must have been fun! When does the movie come out?

Yeah, it was enough fun that my 5(6 today) year old had no problem staying awake and alert past 2AM.;) I don't know when the movie comes out but I will be on set again in the coming weeks and see if I can find out. We were guests of someone that was working on set and treated WELL to say the least.:D

A little about the EVO IX stunt car that they were using. It has ~450HP, is right hand drive and straight out of Japan, is REAR wheel drive and the majority of the rear suspension and hardware is custom to deal with being fed all of the power as opposed to just most of it. The driver was able to slide the car around the camera with the front bumper about 2-3 feet from the camera body REPEATEDLY!

yeah that farrari was def. going as fast as he could, a lot of exotic cars losses can be blamed on the total idiots who drive 95% of them though...

I agree the Ferrari was prolly trying... Since the most exotics have paddle shifting you would figure they arent too hard to drive in a straight line race on the highway. Most Ferrari's run mid-low and trap pretty high, if im not mistaken. That's why an evo taking a ferrari on the highway is a major compliment.

Mind if I ask what your Wrex dynoed at? (If you have dynoed it)

what a tool. didnt even sound like the ferrari was on it. usually u can tell by their sound....

Maybe he was falling too far behind for the video camera's mike to pick up the sound.....

:LOLOL

Literally 10 mins from my house in NY :).

Cool vid...360 isn't *that* fast though. Gotta admit, I'd probably be braggin a little too.

Farrari's still offer a good ol' 6 speed, as they should, so most? IDK maybe most, but who knows, I know if I got one it would have to be a 6 speed manual...

My car dynoed on a Mustang dyno which is one if not the lowest reading dyno on the market...not to justify the low numbers i dont really care. A stock wrx runs 160HP and TQ ont his dyno, which runs 5.4 0-60, 14.3ish in the 1/4. I ran a 12.6 something with 244 i think AWHP and 245 awtq. Now though with some new goodies Im looking to get over 300 to the wheels in tq and hp...but thats yet to be seen cause my car is still in a million pieces in my garage and is yet to be tuned. The guy I take my car to for tunes is actually a engineer for an American Grand-Pirx team...needless to say he is just awsome at tuning...
