Stories like this make me want to vomit. I tend not associate with my generation much at all and in fact, I despise almost all of them and a great percentage of everything they 'stand for'. I avoid texting at all costs and when I do text, I don't shorthand. My text messages are correctly punctuated, capitalized and contain complete and properly constructed sentences. It drives people crazy but I don't care. I refuse to butcher the English language for the sake of convenience.
