:help:Has anyone found a specific fabric cleaner that will remove spots and stains on many of todays new age cloth seats in cars? I'm talking about that mesh synthetic fabric mostly founf in economy cars. I'm struggling to find a product. I have mixed many of my own cleaners in search of a cure. If anybody has found a solution please let me know.:thanks

Have you tried Folex?

This was going to be my suggestion its the one that I use.

One thing that I have seen with these new fabrics are that spot cleaning with any liquid makes them leave spots..The way that I have worked around this is to get the whole seat surface wet so that it drys out evenly...I know that sounds crazy but its the only way that I have seen that works.

I wish I had a steamer because I was thinking that might be a solution for this.

That is a great idea I never thought of cleaning the whole seat to even the blochiness out. Unfortunately my Kleen Rite steamer is down right now otherwise that would have been my choice . Good call.:thanks

No, I havent tried the Folex yet. I need to order some more supplies this week so I'll order some. I've heard great things about it.:thanks

Have you tried any of these on the new fabrics like the OP is asking...I ask this because I know what why he is asking...that material can be real hard to spot clean...that's why I suggested cleaning the whole seat area rather than just a spot...its what I had to do...you can clean the area where the spot is...then once that drys where you wet that down with the solution you can see what you wet and what you didn't..making a even bigger spot.

I haven't tried steam but think that could be the solution

I have samples of all and have used them on newer cars carpets and stains in the cloth seats. I just recently got the Folex and I tried all 3 on different sections of the interior on my sisters 07 Mazda 6.
